I want to know how you use cleanser, toner and moisturizer in co-ordination? Is toner a necessity? i have dark circles and puffiness around my eyes; what can I use? I want to brighten my skin- what can I use? Please remember that I am a 19 year old guy and of south-asian ethnicity.

please don’t make fun of me or say anything not related to my question. dont be mean please! so i had this since 11 and i am 13. i don’t wear that many makeup. i wear coverup sometimes. i am currently using aveeno clear complexion foaming cleanser and aveeno Skin Brightening daily scrub. i just started using these and they help my pimples but not these little bumps. i just wanna know what they are exactly and if you could, please tell me how to get rid of them!! im asian(korean)

Yes it is a form of acne. Acne and pimples are the same thing. Try washing your face with Dove soap twice a day. Usually the type of acne you have is caused from oily skin. Keep it clean and oil free and you should see a difference pretty soon. DO NOT touch your face with your hands, it only makes it worse.
To many treatments, such as mask and what not will only irritate your acne more.

I bought the Skin Brightening gel and some other product by neostrata. Isnt doing anything! Does anyone know of a product that works? I know there is a product by clinique but its $40.00 a tiiny tube. Am i looking at going to a skin clinic to maybe do some laser or skin resurfacing or whatever it is they do? Please let me know what worked and how much it cost even if it means going to a skin specialist or cosmetic skin doctor.

Before going to a dermatologist, try getting microdermabrasion. Not all places will do it on areas other than the face, call around to find out. If after a few treatments, you see no improvement at all, you are probably looking at laser resurfacing, which can cost from the high hundreds into the thousands. It depends on where you are and who you go to. I’ve had three microderm treatments, and it helped reduce scars on my face. But it didn’t remove them entirely. Your best bet is to go to a medical esthetician at a spa, and ask what your options are for your particular condtion. They’ll point you in the right direction after examining your skin.

I don’t know if anything can get your skin lighter. But just wear sunscreen and I know this sounds hard, but try and stay out of the sun. Good luck.
